Join Our Community
The festival runs on the energy, love, and dedication of over 100 community volunteers. We'd love to have you.
Why Volunteer
Volunteering at the Monterey Bay Día de los Muertos Festival is more than giving your time — it is an act of cultural service. Every volunteer who shows up makes it possible for thousands of community members to gather, grieve, celebrate, and connect with their heritage.
No experience is necessary. All skill levels, ages (16+), and backgrounds are welcome. We will train you and make sure you feel confident and supported in your role.
How You Can Help
Help build the festival grounds before the event and assist with teardown after. Physical work, great community.

Document the festival through photography or video. Share the beauty of the celebration with the community.
